Hah - I had a funny interaction with him a while back. It fits in well with your analysis of him as a bit of an arrogant ass. My initial point was that as someone from Slavic Europe, the war in Ukraine was hitting a bit close to home for me, and he ended up telling me he was "from further east than me", by which I guess he meant he was born in Israel.
