Curtis Yarvin is a clown and deserves a pie in his face
Curtis Yarvin has been pushed in our faces by tech oligarchs who fear true democracy and want to normalize top-down rule. They are using him as their court jester, giving him space to do his half-serious/half-jokey reactionary monarchy act. They want to gauge our reaction. They want to see how we will respond. And so far, the feedback he’s gotten shows nothing good. The right loves his D&D fantasy of a better, older lost world — a world where strong men rule and the weak know their place. And the libs? They treat Yarvin like a ridiculous spectacle. He’s someone to mock for being uncool, for being an insecure nerd who worries about being fat. The libs have no countervailing vision, no political answer to Yarvin’s pro-oligarch act. That’s because the libs actually agree with the tech oligarchs’ authoritarian dreams. Like them, the libs also fear democracy and dream of a technocratic society. In the end, both want to make people into serfs and lackeys to a ruling elite — and there is no dignity in that.
So Curtis Yarvin wants to be a clown for the oligarchy? He wants to dance and prance for his masters? Well, we’ll treat him like a clown. If he doesn’t believe in our shared dignity, he should be stripped of his. A cream pie in his face is a good place to start. You like being funny? This is funny.
We tried to catch Yarvin last night outside the Roxy Cinema event with Red Scare in Manhattan. But we found out he’s very scared of people. He kept the location of the event a secret and then did background checks on his audience, excluding everyone who might disagree. But apparently even that wasn’t enough to placate his fears. After the super-secure event, he hid from the public — immediately disappearing inside the hotel above the event space or sneaking through the backdoor and speeding away on several black SUVs. And so despite our best efforts, he eluded us in the end. But don’t worry. We’ll catch him next time around. The pie awaits.
