Zombie Lenin in Montreal

Evgenia and I were in Montreal at Frontieres, a film market specifically geared for the horror/scfi-fi genre. We were there to talk to various interested parties about financing and producing Inheritance, the zombie film that we cowrote and that Evgenia is directing.

Can’t say much yet but I do want to share some photos from our presentation at the market. We were definitely a crowd pleaser. A horror film about communists coming back to life? I mean….the thing sells itself.

PS: This year is the hundred-year anniversary of Lenin’s death and his subsequent embalming. A while back we did an ep on the history and politics of the ongoing preservation of Lenin’s body and the secretive lab that carries out the job. Lenin has been kept fresh for resurrection all this time…
